The Raring Corporation designs and manufactures Water Spray Systems (WSS) for mining, mineral processing, power generation, ports, stockyards, and bulk material handling applications.
Water Spray Systems are used to increase material surface moisture, help reach the target Dust Extinction Moisture (DEM), and reduce dust generation during material handling. These systems can be used independently or together with ADS™ Dry Fog dust suppression systems to improve overall dust control performance.
TRC offers several types of water-based dust control systems:
Deluge Systems
Deluge systems apply water to truck beds during truck dumping operations. Conditioning the top layer of material helps reduce dust generation at the dump point and improves the performance of downstream ADS™ Dry Fog systems.
Mist Systems
Mist systems add controlled moisture to material during truck dumping or other high-dust discharge points. This added moisture helps reduce airborne dust downstream, especially at conveyor transfer points, stockpiles, and material handling areas.
Conditioning Systems
Conditioning systems are typically installed at conveyor transfer points to add moisture directly to the material stream. These systems help control dust generation downstream by improving material moisture before it reaches crushers, screens, bins, hoppers, stockpiles, or loading areas.
Yard Spray Systems
Yard spray systems apply water to stockpiles, storage yards, and open material areas. These systems help keep exposed material surfaces damp, reducing wind-blown dust and preventing dust emissions from stockpiles and bulk storage areas.
