Deluge systems are part of The Raring Corporation’s Water Spray Systems (WSS) and are commonly used in truck dump and dump pocket applications.
During truck dumping, dust can be released from the top layer of ore or bulk material as it flows from the truck bed into the hopper. In many cases, this dust is generated above or outside the area where ADS™ Dry Fog can effectively reach it. A deluge system helps address this condition by applying water directly to the top layer of material in the truck bed before or during the dumping process.
TRC deluge systems are designed to work together with ADS™ Dry Fog dust suppression systems installed at dump pockets. By conditioning the surface of the material, the deluge system helps reduce dust generation during unloading and improves overall airborne dust control at the truck dump.
Deluge systems are commonly used in mining, mineral processing, coal handling, aggregate operations, power generation, and bulk material handling facilities where truck dumping creates significant dust emissions.
