Some TRC ADS™ Dry Fog Dust Suppression Systems and Water Spray Systems (WSS) require a dedicated pump skid to provide the correct water flow and pressure for reliable system operation.
In many applications, these pumps are integrated with VFD panels or VSD panels. A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or Variable Speed Drive (VSD) allows the system to adjust pump speed, water flow, and water pressure based on the operating requirements of the dust suppression system.
VFD panel operation can be manual or fully automatic. For automatic operation, the VFD panel can be integrated with a dedicated PLC panel programmed and supplied by The Raring Corporation. This allows the pump skid, water spray system, and ADS™ Dry Fog system to operate together efficiently and consistently.
