10.- Traffic Lights and Positioning Sensors for Dust Suppression Systems

< >

TRC ADS™ Dry Fog Dust Suppression Systems and Water Spray Systems (WSS) require an operating signal to start and stop automatically. In most applications, this signal is provided by the plant Distributed Control System (DCS) and is linked to the operation of the equipment where the TRC dust control system is installed.

In truck dump applications, TRC can integrate traffic lights and positioning sensors into the dust suppression system. Traffic lights help guide truck operators by indicating when it is safe or appropriate to dump. Positioning sensors detect when the truck is in place and ready to begin unloading.

These devices can provide the control signal needed to automatically start or stop fogging or water spray operation. By integrating traffic lights and positioning sensors, TRC helps improve system automation, reduce unnecessary water and air consumption, and support effective dust control during truck dumping operations.

Traffic lights and positioning sensors are commonly used in truck dumps, dump pockets, mining operations, bulk material handling facilities, and other applications where automated dust suppression control is required.
