The Raring Corporation has developed a new application for TRC ADS™ Dry Fog Dust Suppression Systems in the fracking sand industry.
Fracking sand production often uses multi-stage screens to classify material into fine particles, finished product, and oversize material. During normal operation, dust is generally contained inside the screening equipment. However, when the screens require service or inspection and access doors are opened, fine silica dust can become airborne and create exposure risks for operators.
In these applications, TRC ADS™ Dry Fog can be activated while the access doors are open to suppress airborne dust inside the screen area. The system uses microscopic water droplets to capture suspended silica dust particles, helping reduce operator exposure and support safer maintenance conditions.
This application helps improve worker safety, reduce respirable silica dust exposure, and support dust control in fracking sand screening, mineral processing, and industrial material handling operations.
