5.- Bin and Tripper Car Discharge Dust Control

Bins fed by conveyors or tripper cars can generate significant airborne dust during material discharge. The Raring Corporation can apply TRC ADS™ Dry Fog Dust Suppression Systems in these applications using either traveling nozzle assemblies mounted with the head chute or stationary TRC FP10 nozzles installed along both sides of the hoppers.

The main challenge in bin and tripper car discharge applications is keeping the dry fog and airborne dust inside the bin area long enough for effective agglomeration and dust capture. For this reason, passive dust control and containment are important parts of the overall dust control strategy.

TRC can provide wind fences along both sides of the hoppers or support the design of a stilling shed above the bins. These containment features help reduce wind interference, keep dust and fog within the controlled treatment zone, and provide the retention time needed for ADS™ Dry Fog to control airborne dust effectively.

By combining TRC ADS™ Dry Fog with wind fences, stilling sheds, and engineered containment, TRC provides effective dust control solutions for bin discharge, tripper car discharge, conveyor-fed bins, and bulk material handling applications.
