Happy Holidays

We also want to share with our representatives, clients and partners, the TRC milestone during 2018.

Awarded with the 2018 NIOSH Innovation price: The US National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health awarded one of the 2018 Innovation Prices to Wisconsin Proppants Operations for using the Raring Corp’s ADSTM Dry Fog systems for controlling the dust on two of their operations.

Our state-of-the-art brand-new CNC machine, began manufacturing our FP nozzles at extremely high quality with no human interaction.

We attended a master class in innovation at the University of Portland, followed by an ideation workshop at Stanford University.

We also would like to highlight our successful participation in the EXPOMIN 2018 (Santiago, Chile) and the 2018 International Powder Bulks Solids (Illinois, USA).

During the second half of 2018 we published several articles in the Dry Cargo magazine, on topics such as coal, biomass, dust control and rotary rail dumps.

By the end of September 2018 we launched the Spanish version of the TRC website (www.raringcorp.com/es) where you can check our latest news which you can also find at google my business.

During May, we upgraded the dust control system in Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Decatur, improving its performance in the rotary rail dump which feeds the coal-fired power plant. We developed and installed the first ADSTM Dry Fog system to control dust in sawmills. In September, we launched the first project for the Frack Sands industry (see featured), an integration between PEBCO’s telescopic chutes and TRC ADSTM Dry Fog, allowed us to load trucks with very fine sand without fugitive emissions. In Australia, we have continued to participate in BHP's Dust290 project. We supply a Windfence for SPCC ILO at southern Peru. We dispatched the equipment for the Chuquicamata Subterranea project in Chile. We awarded the INCO Pelambres project for dust control in the transfers between feeders and coveyor belt 5001.

Since we are a micro-multinational, visiting different countries is an important part of our policy of innovation, search for new markets and support existing ones. That is why in March we toured South Africa and Australia, where we visited engineering companies and local suppliers involved in the mining industry, to work on potential dust control projects in the country and in the region. During the month of August, we were also in the Engineering offices in Arizona, British Columbia, California and Washington, as well as meeting with our REP Envirohandling and our partner Weathersolve in Canada. We made a trip to Peru, with our local distributor Blexim, during the months of April and November to carry out sales and training their sales staff. We had Fharley, our license in India, at TRC headquarter during October.

Recent news

TRC participating at the Pimasa Group's annual planing summit.

Through our local Representative in Chile, PIMASA we have commissioned the Dust Suppression Systems we supplied for the Chuquicamata Subterraneo project.

After 13 years of continuous operation, the TRC FP stems are still producing great fog. The photo of the stems in use was taken during the last maintenance service, we do quarterly at ADM.

Yesterday we started up the fog system at the truck dump at Buzzi in the USA. The plant did a good job mounting the system, which facilitates our job at starting up this dust suppression system.

The Fog system we sold to buzzi for controlling the dust at the truck dump is already installed and we will be commissioning it after Thanksgiving weekend.
