Receiving PRB Coal by Rotary Dump

Our first rotary rail dump dust control system was installed at NPPD if 2002. We would use more nozzles and a different mounting arrangement today but the project was a success and the customer continues to be happy with its performance.

Note the individual nozzle mounts which we no longer use. See the second clip below for a view of our newer nozzle boxes.

And see the curtain panels hanging from the bottom of the barrel. This is a key feature of the containment.
