The Problem Unloading coal, coke, clinker, grain, and other products from bottom dump trucks can be a dusty business. This petroleum coke truck is unloading at a Northwest port facility. The daily on-shore breeze carries the visible coke dust to neighboring businesses and residences. Under pressure from local environmental agencies, the port needed a quick and cost effective solution. |

The Solution The solution to this problem was an ADS dust control system mounted on the unloading platform. FP fog nozzles are aimed at the source of dust from the up-wind side. The fog creates a filtration blanket around the falling coke capturing the airborne dust as it is generated. Simple, cost effective solutions to dust control problems are what The Raring Corporation has done for over 15 years.
