Coal Fired Power Plant Applications

Introduction:  Fog based dust control technology has earned a reputation as an effective, low cost solution for the control of fugitive and nuisance dust in coal fired power plants.  It is an excellent alternative for dust extraction with bag houses and for upgrading existing dust control systems when plants convert to dustier coals such as PRB or unwashed south American sources. 

Where to Use Fog:  ADS is the right choice for unloading, reclaiming, transferring, and crushing coal, limestone, and fly ash. Scroll the photos in the gallery section.

Where Not to Use Fog:  Fog is not a good solution for stacking open stockpiles, working open piles, or handling hot materials.
